Dementia 101: Understanding the Basics for Better Care is a free, in-person education session for families who are caring for someone with dementia or simply want to learn more. Together, we’ll explore what dementia is (and what it isn’t), how it affects the brain and behavior, and the early signs to watch for. You’ll gain practical tools for better communication and caregiving, while also having the chance to connect with other families walking a similar path. Come as you are—whether you’re new to dementia or have been caregiving for years — and leave with knowledge, community, and support. All are welcome.
