Dementia Live® Experience & Education

Dementia Live® is an immersive, hands-on dementia simulation experience designed to help participants better understand what it may feel like to live with cognitive and sensory changes associated with dementia.

Participants gain insight into:

  • Confusion and sensory changes
  • Communication challenges
  • Frustration and overwhelm
  • Task difficulty and processing changes
  • The emotional impact of living with dementia

This powerful experience is followed by education

and discussion focused on:

  • Dementia-aware communication
  • Person-centered approaches
  • Responsive behaviors as communication
  • Supporting dignity, autonomy, and connection
  • Practical strategies caregivers can use immediately
